Andrew Lillis
Andrew has been a lawyer since 2007. After starting his career as foreign legal counsel with one of China’s largest law firms in Beijing, and as senior legal counsel in the biotech industry in Hong Kong, Andrew has been working as a commercial lawyer in private practice in New York since 2012. Andrew assists clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 500 companies with issues as diverse as data privacy, intellectual property, U.S. market entry, immigration, employment & executive compensation, business disputes, contract drafting and negotiation and employee relocation.
Andrew is admitted to practice law in Texas (attorney), New York (attorney), Ireland (solicitor) and England & Wales (solicitor). Andrew holds a Bachelor of Civil Law from University College Dublin, a Masters in Chinese Law from the University of Hong Kong, an MBA from Quantic University of Business & Technology. He is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional and has completed Ken Adam’s Drafting Clearer Contracts masterclass.
Andrew has served as Secretary of the Irish American Bar Association of New York since 2013, is Co-founder of the Quantic Law Society and, having continuously worked on asylum cases since 2007, Andrew actively assists refugees in the United States on a pro bono basis.
